Environmental engineering is a profession that began with the emergence of environmental pollution issues.

Environmental engineering program; within the scope of preventing environmental pollution and protecting the quality of living spaces,

  • Environmental management systems and plans,
  • Environmental impact assessment (EIA),
  • Planning and protection of environmental resources and environments,
  • Pollution (air, water, soil, noise, odor, light, etc.) prevention and treatment techniques and technologies,
  • Waste (solid, liquid, gas, harmful, domestic and industrial, etc.) prevention, reduction, reuse, recovery, recycling, treatment and disposal techniques and technologies,
  • Supply and treatment of drinking and utility water,
  • Collection and treatment of domestic and industrial wastewater (sewage) and rain water,

It is an interdisciplinary branch of engineering that carries out research studies on its topics and sub-subjects.

Graduates of the Environmental Engineering Program may carry out the following environmental engineering services in accordance with the provisions of the Turkish Chamber of Engineers and Architects of the Environmental Engineers Regulation on Free Environmental Engineering Services Application, Registration, Inspection and Minimum Wage.

  • Trial run, examination and acceptance,
  • Application and business management,
  • Preparation and arrangement of specification-tender dossier,
  • Progress and final account,

Sampling, experimentation, measurement, analysis and modeling.
